Someone

Ode to them

it's the elderly hunchbacks that can't look up.
it's the other gutterpups asking for change in a cup.
it's the have-nots who have to walk with a crutch.
it's the bystanders who think too much.
it's the more intune who don't have any hands to clutch.
it's the insightful that read with touch.
it's the self-esteem issues who feel worthless.
it's the seven-year thug that curses.
it's the eighties rat-tail.
it's the kids who kickflip backside lipslide down a handrail.
it's the drunks who keep the barstools warm.
it's the uniques that step away from the norm.
it's the weathered bodies who sit and enjoy a storm.
it's the new Virgo cancer patient.
it's the unfortunate that truly depend on a bus station.
it's the peaceful that take in God's creation.
it's the light-handed that don't own an umbrella.
it's the girl that belts out a hi to a fella.
it's these people that illuminate the country.
it's these modern-day patients that stay hungry.
it's these people that swarm life and stand amongst me.
it's these people that make life so lovely.
it's the sightseer that walks to work by choice.
it's the established single that owns one pair of shoes.
it's God's child with tattoos.
it's the overall jean shorts that can't complain.
it's the sane who society has labeled insane.
it's the old man who still has pep with a cane.
it's the kids who float boats down the gutter in the rain.
it's the hoverboard lady talking gibberish.
it's the curious kid that's kind of skittish.
it's the receded mullet with his window down.
it's the traveling clown.
it's the outpatient that freaks out because he hear sounds.
it's the bag lady that feeds the pigeons.
it's the teacher that guides with wisdom.
it's these people that illuminate the country.
it's these modern-day patients that stay hungry.
it's these people that swarm life and stand amongst me.
it's these people that make life so lovely.
