Come on in, the Water is Fine

Here it comes: that quick moment of salvation;
That growing chance of relief.

The baptismal waters arise-

     Come on in, the water is fine.
     Come on in, the water is fine.

The pounding of rain, in that moment of impact,

That moment you never had, but always wanted.
Those trapped tears arise-
     Come on in, the water is fine.
     Come on in, the water is fine.

But embrace this moment for all you can;
It's all you've wanted, and all you have.
Let the nervous expectation arise-
     Come on in, the water is fine.
     Come on in, the water is fine.

Your heart pounds, your chest heaves, they both fall;
This is the moment where you're alive.
Let the warmth of vulnerability arise-
     Come on in, the water is fine.
     Come on in, the water is fine.
